As a part of our Initiatives, we at NATULIQUE wish to move beyond our own scope and spread the values and ethos which we represent across the world as well as give back to the community. That is why NATULIQUE embraces social innovation.

#BeCrueltyFree (Ending Animal Cruelty)

Because of the harm done to animal subjects, the European cosmetic law states that no cosmetic product tested on animals, anywhere in the world, may be sold nor produced in Denmark. Being cruelty-free can thus be said to be deeply rooted in our culture. However, at NATULIQUE we wish to do more and not turn a blind eye to what happens outside our borders. NATULIQUE is therefore a very devoted partner to Humane Society International and we continuously support their #BeCrueltyFree campaign.

#BeCrueltyFree is the largest campaign in the world to end cosmetics animal testing. Globally there are #BeCrueltyFree campaigns in Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, India, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Russia, Taiwan and the United States, where the campaign is led by The Humane Society of the United States. You can support the campaign and help make the whole world cruelty-free by taking the Be Cruelty Free pledge at hsi.org/bcfpledge.

Breast Cancer Awareness

Having a history of breast cancer, we wanted to help increase awareness on this topic. Each year during the annual Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, we encourage the talented professionals to post pictures with their clients, showing that strong bonds (and colours) and build great relationships. By that, we strive to tell, that the benefits of those bonds are numerous: professional support, enhanced knowledge about our common values and the ability to stand even stronger against any given cause – and of course; having a green hairdresser lowers the risk of developing allergies or worse. Last year, we used #Colour4Cause and donated based on the amount of content shared with the given hashtag.

Christmas Aid/Help

When the Holliday season comes, we often get caught up in our busy day-to-day life and focus on getting all our gifts and everything ready. What we often seem to forget is that Christmas can be a very hard time for some people. The less fortunate does not have the opportunity to get gifts.

Because of this, we decided that every year we go shopping for toys which we donate to the Salvation Army. The Salvation Army distributed the presents to families who do not have the possibility to get presents themselves.
